You frantically try to take away the cushion from the seat to check underneath for anything that may be used to keep you above water as the horizon rises to meet the thin marble slab you're sitting on. The leather doesn't seem to budge, no matter how much you pull. It seems this is a dead end.
If you want to float, you're gonna need to think of something else FAST.

You take your INVENTORY from THIN AIR. You have no idea how you manage to do this but, done it is. You are very careful to not get your fingers through the very thin holes in between the UI elements that compose your INVENTORY. Despite these holes, the INVENTORY is actually quite solid. It is also surprisingly buoyant! It should serve quite well as a raft of sorts.
You take a moment to gather your thoughts and plan your next move. You have no idea how far the water will rise or how far away the closest landmass is, but you need a gameplan if you are to survive on the open ocean. Maybe you'd want to head towards those gigantic plants you saw earlier, or y-
