Which Armored Core should I start with?

I've been hearing about the Armored Core franchise for some time now, and with the new one having just been announced it seems like a good idea to get into it!

HII!!!! currently, armored core 4 and For Answer run pretty good on RPCS3, the ps3 emulator. theyre a self contained continuity, play like a dream, and are also coincidentally the best ones in the series. idk what the statute is on posting links to emulators but i do have one to a google drive that comes with both games and the emulator if youd like to PM me!
