oh god here we fucking go again

okay thoughts in no particular order:
- mario voice still bad
- girlboss peach real
- bowser still looking like the only competent part of this movie
- the coliseum being set up in that two dimensional way looks pretty dumb
- wow she said galaxy, like mario galaxy
- wow mario karts, like from mario kart
- luigi is okay too actually. luigi and bowser cool

Every Illumination trailer is the same. The visuals looked nice though, and I'm still liking their Bowser. If Luigi gets his poltergust then I might pretend that the movie is good.

still insane how he gives -1000% effort at every turn when voicing Mario, even for the wahoo, but oh well. anyway very illumination very simple but it'll probably be kinda fun to watch if not purely for bowser n luigi but not pay for movie tickets or even a dvd or digital release fun, i'll just probably watch it after it mysteriously falls out of a truck and i just so happen to find it

I like our consensus that we’re just here for Luigi and Bowser. Also yeah, I’m probably gonna have fun watching it even if it’s shit, I’m not immune to familiar characters doing shenanigans.

this movie needs to follow up to the legacy of a movie where john leguizamo and bob hoskins fight dinosaurs in suits that was directed by the people who made max headroom. it cannot beat that
