I don't think I've ever seen anyone with that take before, seen plenty of the opposite.

Anyway people say that it's a book about "lesbian necromancers in space" a lot and it kinda is but i feel like that's kinda misleading for the first book because Gideon isn't a necromancer and for the most part they aren't in space. It's like mostly a gothic horror about these two girls that fucking hate eachother skulking around a castle trying to solve mysteries, and also the main character is a butch lesbian who makes stupid jokes and thinks about tiddies and swords a lot.

It's a fun read if you like skeletons, or swords, or girls who are evil, or butch redheads

Just finished "White Noise" by Don DeLillo and it was SO HECKIN' GOOD. I definitely recommend reading it before watching the movie (Even though I think the film is still pretty good even if it misses the mark). It has some strange otherwordly dialogue that was so fun to read. Everyone spoke like a mix of Wes Anderson and David Lynch characters. If you are down for weird shit I would highly recommend it.
