i like am almost to the last story (sa2 reference???) and have 90% of my dex complete. no shinies. what the hell

also dont go playing competitive matches on battle stadium, rng is broken there and you can always gaurantee a sheer cold can hit if your pokemon moves third on the first turn. you're gonna need to find people on discord to actually test vgc teams.

hey that ending was insane.(compliment) i love when pokemon stories go fucked up weird with it while also showing character growth which is probably why sun and moon were my favorite games and this games last act and also starfall street were all great

after everyone in this thread got their like, 50th full odds shiny i finally got my first shiny, at maximum shiny rate (60+ defeated outbreak with shining power sandwich and shiny charm). don't care tho, still cute

beat the elite 4 and the champion tonight... first time ive ever done that in pokemon, normally i stop after beating the gyms. and im less than 20 away from completing the pokedex. if i do finish thatll also be a first. im like... enjoying the hell out of this game

Same, started with gen 4 but never really tried to finish the pokedex until this gen. Maybe it’s because the current format lets an uncaught pokemon catch your eye from a distance, and you can just run right up and grab it without waiting for a 1% encounter rate.
