Can confirm you are able to play the save after you beat the game, it just spits you out to right before you go in the final area I believe. Also that second chain dash challenge is FUCKED UP! There's a trick to it involving using mouse controls but even then it takes for fucking ever.
I found it helped to have a metronome playing while i did it
I have never had a sense of rhythm in my life but it's worth a shot I guess! And thanks for letting me know I can do all of the side stuff post game as well, I am going to try to finish the game this weekend I think.
